What Drainage Service Covers

Every sink, toilet, shower, and appliance in your home connects to a drain line. Those lines tie into a main sewer line that runs from your home to the municipal connection or septic system. A problem anywhere in that system affects everything downstream from it.

Drain and sewer problems that go unaddressed often contribute to water waste. The EPA estimates that household leaks and drainage issues waste close to one trillion gallons of water annually across the country.

A couple of things about this market worth knowing. Plano’s older neighborhoods carry decades-old clay or cast iron sewer lines that are prone to root intrusion and joint separation. Newer builds are not immune either. Grease buildup, wipes that should not have been flushed, and hard water scale accumulate regardless of how old the pipes are.

Pure Plumbing handles the full drainage system, from fixture-level clogs all the way to main line replacement.

One thing worth knowing on hydro jetting: not every pipe system is a candidate. Before running high-pressure water through a line, we run a camera inspection to confirm the pipe walls are structurally sound. Older clay or cast iron lines with significant joint separation or cracking need repair first. Jetting a compromised line at full pressure can make things worse, not better. We check before we jet, every time.
